Dan’s love of art started when he was a young child and grew while he was studying at The Cooper Union. After doing some work with chemical engineering, Dan decided to focus on his craft and working with polymer clay. He enjoys each piece of art that he creates as a unique experience. He loves the size, brightness and boldness he is able to create with his pieces, which can incorporate kaleidoscope effects, flowers and be created into lamps, vases, bowls and other functioning art pieces. What makes the pieces especially beautiful are the thin slivers of open spaces where natural light can shine through.
