Artist Applications

Mayfair Festival of the Arts has added INDOOR space for artists in its Artist Market!

Now you can CHOOSE…Outdoor Artist Market…or Indoor Artist Market!

The Artist Market in the Mayfair Village Features: 

• Indoor exhibit hall offering climate-controlled space. Pipe and drape included. Level cement floors. Building locked overnight.
• Outdoor booth space for artists who feel their works exhibit better outdoors. Spaces available on macadam or grass.
• Indoor rest rooms.
• On-site vendor RV parking ($20/day for electric).
• Indoor and outdoor stages for the comfort of our patrons in all weather.
• Located in the upscale, pedestrian-friendly west end theater district.

We are in the process of reviewing applicants now, but we are still in need of vendors who offer something unusual. If you do ethnic food, gourmet, vegetarian, or something beyond typical festival fare, we want to hear from you!

Mayfair Festival of the Arts has multiple stages featuring performing artists of all type – music, dance, theater, comedy, poetry, and children’s performances!Timeslots on stage are generally up to 1 hour. If you would like to be considered for a spot on one of our stages, please email the following information to Programming@MayfairFestival.org

Directions

Mayfair, Inc. produces Mayfair Festival of the Arts annually during Memorial Day weekend.

The event is a 4 day event running Friday through through Monday, Memorial Day.

We have indoor and outdoor facilities, including an indoor Artist Market and outdoor Artist Market; an indoor Stage and an outdoor Stage. We feature many genres of music and a wide variety of performing arts. Our Artist Markets include painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, pottery and so much more. We also feature a large variety of Food Vendors.

The festival is on the western end of the Allentown Fairgrounds, inside the exhibit halls, and outside on the surrounding grounds.

On-site parking is free! Enter the lot at Liberty Street between 18th and 19th streets.

Is Mayfair accessible to persons with disabilities?

Mayfair is held in the Allentown Fairgrounds which hosts public events every weekend. The grounds, buildings and restrooms are handicap accessible.

Are pets allowed at Mayfair?

Other than personal assistance dogs, pets are NOT allowed at Mayfair.

Where do I park?
Mayfair Festival of the Arts offers FREE, onsite parking in the infield section of the Fairgrounds. Enter from Liberty Street between 18th and 19th streets. On Sunday and Monday when the Farmer’s Market is closed, you may park in their lot as well. Parking is also available along the streets surrounding the Fairgrounds.

May I bring food and beverages to Mayfair?
We ask that you please respect our food vendors, who pay a fee to operate at Mayfair, by not bringing food and beverages into the festival.

What is the weather is bad?
Mayfair Festival of the Arts offers both indoor and outdoor options for our patrons so there is something to regardless of the weather!

Are cameras and video or audio taping equipment allowed?
Cameras are allowed throughout the festival grounds, except the stage areas.

I purchased tickets in advance, but lost them, what should I do?
We’re sorry, but Mayfair is unable to replace lost or stolen tickets.

Are children’s strollers allowed at Mayfair?
Yes

Is there a dress code for Mayfair?
No

Is alcohol allowed at Mayfair?
No carry-in alcohol allowed. Wine and beer are available for purchase on the grounds.

Are lawn chairs, blankets, and other picnic items allowed?
Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed, but picnic food is not allowed out of deference to Mayfair’s many food vendors. Mayfair offers ample seating both outdoors and under cover.

Is smoking allowed at Mayfair?
Smoking is not allowed in any tented area due to Fire Regulations.

Is there reserved seating at the stage shows?
All concerts are included in the price of the Festival gate ticket and there is no reserved seating.

Will Mayfair be offering a military discount again this year?
Yes, to honor our military on Memorial Day weekend, everyone with a military ID will be our guest, admitted to Mayfair Festival at no charge.
